Explore your surroundings by following one of the many nearby footpaths, including Fowey Hall Walk, displaying views of Fowey's magnificent harbour. For refuelling after a day of traversing, The Old Ferry Inn is close by and a great option for eating out. If you’d prefer to travel further afield, take the ferry, which is just a mile away, to Fowey, and enjoy a beautiful day of seaside walking and dining at many of the local restaurants and cafés. If you'd rather have a beach day, visit Readymoney Cove, which is a couple of miles away and a tranquil retreat ideal for picnics, relaxation, and getting lost in a good book. Bodinnick, a charming riverfront community in south-east Cornwall, is situated near to Mixtow and Pont on the bank of the River Fowey. Bodinnick is a wonderful starting point from which to explore and take in the wonders of Cornwall because it is home to the quaint bar The Old Ferry Inn and a gorgeous Methodist Church. It is the perfect place to take in the breathtaking views of the Polperro Heritage Coast and is close to a number of beautiful beaches, such as Readymoney Cove, Polridmouth Cove, and Menabilly Beach. There are also numerous opportunities for walking, hiking, and cycling within the Tamar Valley aonb, which is a major draw for nature lovers. You'll never run out of things to see or do if you travel to Fowey, where you can find the Fowey Aquarium and the National Trust-owned Fowey Estuary, or farther afield to find the Eden Project, The Lost Gardens Heligan, and Golitha Falls!
