This deceptively spacious four bedroom house is in the harbourside village of Polruan just 300 yards from the village shops and two characterful inns serving a range of excellent food. The quay and passenger ferry to Fowey is nearby and takes guests back and forward across the water regularly throughout the day. This is Daphne du Maurier country and the acclaimed Fowey festival attracts many to its talks, walks, plays and poetry. Surrounded by miles of beautiful coast and countryside, opportunities for walking abound. The coastal footpath that leads to the beautiful unspoilt coves of Lantic Bay and Lantivet and the Hall Walk are within 200 yards. Both the famous Eden Project and the 'Lost Gardens of Heligan' are within easy driving distance.
Tean offers a high standard of accommodation and has the benefit of a pleasant rear garden with views of the harbour. All the living rooms are on the ground floor. There is a spacious lounge with windows giving some views of the harbour, a wood burning stove and a large dining table and chairs for sociable mealtimes. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped and a washing machine and tumble dryer are provided in the outhouse which also has an additional WC and useful space for drying clothes and walking boots. At the front of the cottage there is a generous double bedroom which overlooks Fore Street and has a carefully sited side window giving pleasant harbour views. Also on this floor are a two further bedrooms, a shower room and bathroom. The fourth bedroom is an attractive attic room on the second floor with sloping ceilings and Velux windows.
From the kitchen a door leads to the rear garden via a shared right of way and steps. The garden has a lawn and raised deck with garden furniture and good views over the village and the harbour beyond.
Accommodation: Ground Floor: Lounge/diner with TV/DVD and wood-burning stove. Kitchen with large electric range cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. First Floor: Bedroom 1 with Double. Bedroom 2 with Double. Bedroom 3 with Twin. Shower room with shower, WC and basin. Bathroom with bath, shower, WC and basin. Second Floor: Bedroom 4 with Twin. Outhouse with washing machine, tumble dryer, WC and basin.

Unloading outside the house and one parking space at the top of the garden. Other parking spaces available in the village car park 250 yards away. Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Friday.
