Forming part of an elegant Victorian townhouse, on the popular Esplanade, this two bedroom ground floor apartment has been thoughtfully decorated and tastefully furnished to provide you with the ideal base from which to explore Fowey. Why not just relax on the terrace and admire your surroundings? The apartment is ideally situated halfway between the town centre and sandy beach at Readymoney Cove - either is just a 5-10 minute walk away.
Fowey has a long history of boat building, fishing, trade and the occasional pirate. Today, especially in summer, there is always something happening on the water – small fishing boats, visiting yachts, dinghy racing, the occasional boat exporting local china clay and sometimes a cruise ship – all of which you can watch from the apartment or sitting on our terrace. Fowey, being on the Cornwall coast path, is a popular base for walkers. Small motor boats, kayaks and stand-up paddle boards are available for hire on the river or alternatively catch the ferry to Polruan or Bodinnick?
The narrow streets of Fowey boast a number of boutique shops and galleries together with a good choice of cafes, pubs and restaurants. Local attractions such as the Eden Project, Lanhydrock, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Charlestown just a short drive away. There is also a daily boat trip to Mevagissey during the summer.

Very peaceful, perfectly situated with incredible views from living room and upstairs front bedroom. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all esentials for cooking. Washing machine and dishwasher worked well. Pictures are accurate. Debbie was helpful and responsive when needed, although I had no problems. High ceilings, feels very spacious. Great walks around the coast from your front door. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again.

This was our 3rd stay in the apartment and it won’t be our last! The location is absolutely perfect with stunning views over the Fowey estuary. There is a short but steep hill up to the property but nothing too strenuous.The property is so clean and tidy and has everything you need for your stay. There is a new comfy sofa which is lovely.Debbie is a star and on hand for any questions or needs you might have.If I’m being picky I would say that the two chairs in the living area really need updating and maybe replaced with a second sofa. Other than that - perfect stay!
