Fowey, being on the Cornwall coast path, is a popular base for walkers. Small motor boats, kayaks and stand-up paddle boards are available for hire on the river or alternatively catch the ferry to Polruan or Bodinnick?

The narrow streets of Fowey boast a number of boutique shops and galleries together with a good choice of cafes, pubs and restaurants.
