In countryside on hills between Boscastle (2 miles) and Tintagel (2½ miles), a handsome detached stone-built house with magnificent views out to sea and along the lovely north Cornish coast. The large, secluded garden (table and chairs) faces out to sea, with plenty of lawn space for children to play or in which to relax peacefully.A little used footpath to Boscastle passes the house; ¾ mile away, down a lane and through the quaint village of Trevalga, is the Coast Path for walking spectacular cliffs and rocky coves. From the garden, door to large farmhouse-style kitchen/dining room (dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, electric cooker) with traditional slate floor. Big, comfortable living room with open fire, smart TV/DVD and French windows to garden. Snug with TV/DVD, games and toys, a good space for children to play. Ground-floor bathroom (suite with hand-shower and separate shower cubicle, WC, washing machine, tumble drier). Hall with slate floor and desk. From hall, stairs up to another hallway and four bedrooms - a large double, a big family room with double and single bed, a twin, and a bunk room; Upstairs bathroom (shower, basin, WC).

Spring water. We ask that dogs are kept down stairs on the uncarpeted areas and not permitted upstairs. Bikes and surfboards can be stored in former stables. A big, roomy family house for relaxing in the big garden, walking the Coast Path or exploring the beaches and villages along this wonderful stretch of heritage coastline. Boscastle: famous village (pubs) where two rivers meet the sea in a natural harbour between steep moorland hillsides. Very lovely cliff and wooded-valley walks. Pretty low-tide sand beach at Bossiney, 2 miles, or bigger Trebarwith Strand (surfing), 5; Tintagel, 3. Pony-trekking locally. A perfect Cornish coastal village, the road through Boscastle runs down to the small harbour at the bottom of the hill. The quaint village shops, local restaurants and pubs offering good food, Cornish real ales and live entertainment by local musicians, make this an ever popular visitor destination. Spectacular cliff tops, rocky coves, wild surf, open fields and rich wildlife characterise this beautiful area. The coastal footpath passes through some of Britain’s most rugged and spectacular coastal scenery. The sandy beaches of Bossiney, Trebarwith Strand and Crackington Haven are all within 5 miles and the surfing beaches at Bude and Polzeath are within easy driving distance. Close at hand lie the delights of Tintagel, swathed in the legends of King Arthur, several stately homes and renowned gardens, or the wide open space of Bodmin Moor, famous for its granite tors and Daphne Du Maurier’s Jamaica Inn.
