Henry viii's Pendennis Castle, located on a peninsula with breathtaking views of Falmouth Harbor, is a top tourist attraction. Beautiful St. Mawes can be found on the Roseland Peninsula, just across Falmouth Harbour. This area is known for its rocky coves, sandy beaches, and verdant countryside; you can drive there or take a ferry from Falmouth. Although the property is very central, the walk to the shops and back is quite a challenge because of the gradients.

Good views and easy access to the town via the 111 " Jacob's ladder steps though a bit challenging at 78 yrs. Bathroom fan is very noisy and could disturb neighbours - Heated towel rail does not appear to work.. A leaving time at 9;30 /10;00 would be more reasonable than 9;00 am

I definitely agree with the other reviews too. We really loved Falmouth, the walks and lovely pubs, especially ‘The Front’. This building is at the top of a lot of steps from town though. It’s very open plan too but the blackout curtains everywhere helped. Loved the decor which was fab. The balcony had incredible views. Very suitable for a couple but not a toddler.
