The many reasons to holiday here include the fascinating maritime heritage; the Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty along the Helford and Fal Rivers, watersports, boat trips running from the pier and quay; and plenty of family friendly attractions, the village offers such a rich variety of landscape and attractions for people of all ages. Falmouth's natural harbour, winding alleyways, and beaches (it's the world's third-largest) will keep you entertained for a long time. The town's historic harborside bars, first-rate shopping, art gallery, and world-class National Maritime Museum round out the experience.

Henry viii commissioned the construction of Pendennis Castle in Falmouth, which sits on its own peninsula and offers breathtaking views of the sea. Beautiful St. Mawes is located across Falmouth Harbour, surrounded by the Roseland Peninsula's rocky coves, sandy beaches, and lush green landscape. Take the passenger boat from Falmouth (15 miles away) or your automobile to get there (15 minutes). A lagoon and site of particular scientific interest, the Swanpool Nature Reserve is a haven for nature lovers. It is home to a wide range of wildlife. In addition, there's a golf course nearby.You'll want to return to Falmouth over and over again since it has so much to offer visitors of all ages.
