It also boasts three beaches, each distinct in character and beauty. Walkers will love admiring the exceptional views from the coast path, shielded by rugged cliffs around the bay. This whole area is often referred to as the Cornish Riviera and is characterised by sandy and shingle beaches, sheltered coves and beautiful coastal scenery. The iconic Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan are both within 8 miles of home. Historic Charlestown with its famous tall ships in the harbour is 1 mile away, and the picturesque estuary town of Fowey is a must-visit for its local culture and charm (6.5 miles).
