The Lost Gardens of Heligan (8.5 miles away) and the Eden Project (3 miles) are both well worth a visit, as is the historic port of Charlestown (1.5 miles). It’s the filming location of many TV dramas, including Poldark, and has a range of good pubs, independent shops, and restaurants.
