From Rock, visitors can catch the foot ferry across the estuary to Padstow, Cornwall s food capital, best known for its links to the TV chef Rick Stein. A basket of logs is supplied so that guests can make the most of the warming wood burner. The kitchen/diner is more than just a place to prepare and serves as a second social space, especially when the patio doors are opened, extending the area out into the grounds. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and microwave. A large cupboard houses the washing machine and tumble dryer. As well as the large farmhouse dining table, there is also a seating area here, with a second TV. Two of the property s bedrooms are situated on the ground floor. The first, a twin which can be made up as a super king on request. This room has doors with access to the garden and an en suite bathroom with a bath, separate shower, heated towels and WC; this bathroom can also be reached from the kitchen.
