Nice to be able to use the on-site facilities and the food in the on-site pub was very nice. The living area is quite warm as the thermostat is situated downstairs and heat rises but better than being cold! We didnât have any lights on the stairs or in the hallway but maintenance sorted that out quickly once it was reported to them. Would certainly be happy to return

The only thing lacking that was problematic, was an oven glove. It was rather tricky to cook in the oven without this, but we sacrificed one of the two tea towels for this job. There was an extremely very strong smell of ?Chinese takeaway when you went up the stairs to the living room and kitchen, which did not dissipate throughout our stay. Maybe something had been spilt and it has permeated the fabrics/carpet? It was wet throughout our stay, but the lodge was very comfortable to spend extra time in, watching television or playing board games. Although we had to book to use any of the facilities on the site, this was not a problem and there was always availability at the times we wanted.

A clothes airer would have been really useful to put the wet swimwear on.
