Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviewers frequently mention the lodge's cleanliness, describing it as very clean and tidy, which indicates a high standard maintained by the hosts.

The lodge's location is praised for its tranquillity and proximity to nature, with guests enjoying the birdsong and sunrise. However, one guest mentioned difficulty in finding the park due to sat nav issues, slightly impacting the score.

Comfort is highlighted with mentions of a warm welcome, a well-equipped lodge, and comfortable beds. The spaciousness and quality of furnishings contribute to the positive feedback.

Facilities like the hot tub, pool, and on-site pub are well-received, though there is a mention of the pub being fully booked and bins not being emptied. ! Val and Steve were on hand to help with any problems you had (I had an issue with the shower in the morning, I messaged Val and she offered to get Steve to come and have a look at it. Turns out I just hadn’t turned it on properly). Their hosting skills were absolutely fantastic. The lodge was impeccably well put together, tidy and clean. The kitchen was fully functional and had the options of a washing machine and a dishwasher which made the stay a lot easier. Val and Steve went the extra mile and put balloons and banners up as they knew we were attending for my daughter’s 12th birthday, they even left a lovely card for her. She really was over the moon. The hot tub was heated and ready for us on arrival. There was lots of information sheets, DVD’s and the choice to book swimming which meant we had lots to do!! I have rated them on here as high as I could but they really do deserve the highest ratings!! We will definitely be booking to come back again in the future. I would also like to add that where the lodge is located it is very tranquil and quiet. I loved waking up in the mornings and seeing the view from the balcony when I went upstairs in the morning.

Lovely gift of chocolates, biscuits and wine, loved the topsy-turvey living gave us super views from balcony. Fully equipped kitchen, which made it so easy to prepare Christmas dinner, dishwasher, freezer, fridge and washer. We did not use the hot tub or other onsite facilities other than the pub/restaurant which was welcoming. and friendly. Plenty of amenities in nearby surrounding areas.

. When we arrived it was clean and we had been left wine chocolates strawberries milk and treats for the dogs.. the hot tub was a massive hit took away a lot of stress.. The only problems we had was the bins on the site had not been emptied at all the whole time we had been their also they are too far away.. We had a metal bin on the corner for the dog waste and it was overflowing… Couldn’t fault Val as she made us feel very welcome and kept us updated on things that had happened.. liked the storm closed the pool for a day…
