The house is spacious, light, with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable bedrooms, but the maintenance is sadly lacking. The garden was overgrown, one of the toilets seats was broken (and has been for a few years according to guest book entries), the carousel cupboard in the kitchen collapsed when items were put on it and the high up windows are filthy, with flies, spiders and cobwebs. There was only enough hot water for 2 people to have a shower in the morning, (not ideal for a property that is supposed to accommodate 6). Most of the problems would be simple to fix, but are irritating to have to live with, especially considering the cost for a week. Such a shame!

Needed some attention to the garden as it wasn’t very secure and couldn’t leave our dog outside unattended as he got through to the wasteland behind. , also the top windows were very dirty and smothered in cobwebs and dead flies, apart from initial problems with the hot water system which we soon worked out, our stay was lovely and homely,

We couldn't sit with patio doors open as afraid dogs would get out. Dog mess in garden on arrival, loose toilet seats and not the cleanest of properties .
