The stunning expanse of Widemouth Bay beach is 10 minutes’ drive and the scenic beach of Crackington Haven, flanked by impressive cliffs is 3 miles away

On a clear night the sky is utterly breath taking, the Milky Way spirals overhead, whilst meteor showers and shooting stars leave a trail of light in their wake. You can meet the owner’s wonderful hens, friendly and full of character; whilst on the lake you will see geese and ducks and above you a variety of birds of prey gracefully wheel and circle in silence. If you can tear yourself away, the beautiful local beach at Crackington Haven is only 3 miles away and the superb golden beach of Summerleaze is just 10 miles to the north, ever popular with families, surfers and swimmers. For a more stunningly rugged beach to explore, Trebarwith Beach is just 13 miles to the south-west, which at low tide stretches for over a mile, revealing rock pools and formations millions of years old. The popular historic seaside town of Bude is just 10 miles away, offering shops and restaurants, canal walks and beaches, whilst the mystical village of Tintagel, forever associated with the legends King Arthur, is just 13 miles along the coast. Here you can find the castle ruins and the footbridge which reveals the incredible scenery below! The stunning, rugged beach of Crackington Haven is only 3 miles away. One well behaved dog is welcome, however it must be kept on a lead at all times due to the wildlife around, and must not be left alone.
