About this Bed and Breakfast

The warmest welcome awaits at Stratton Gardens Guest House, an award winning bed and breakfast set just a short drive from the amenities, beaches and coastal walks of Bude. Tucked away in the historic town of Stratton, our charming 16th century house has been lovingly refurbished to a high standard throughout and sits in beautiful gardens where guests are welcome to relax. We are pleased to offer a recently renovated choice of double and twin ensuite guest rooms, and guests celebrating a special occasion are very welcome. 

We are situated just minutes from the sea and our guest house is perfect for all the wonderful coastal walks, little fishing villages and beautiful sandy beaches that North Cornwall has to offer. A fantastic choice of outdoor activities can be enjoyed closeby including surfing, horse riding and cycling. The Eden Project, Boscastle, Padstow and Port Isaac are all within easy reach.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

All of our guest rooms are superbly appointed with high quality bed linen and towels, a flat screen TV, DVD/ CD player, a clock radio alarm with iPod dock, hair dryer, easy chairs/ sofa, desk/ dressing table with mirror, premium quality toiletries and a hospitality tray with fresh milk, a range of Fair Trade teas, coffees, biscuits and herbal teas.

Our premium room are slightly larger and each have a super king size double/ set of twin beds plus a choice of ensuite with either a walk in shower or luxurious double ended bath with shower over. Our superior rooms are furnished with a king size bed, an ensuite with stylish walk in shower and lovely views over the garden.

Breakfast

Our rates include a freshly cooked full Cornish breakfast created from local and homemade produce wherever we can. Our commitment to local sourcing has been recognised by the Real Cornish Breakfast Campaign which is part of the Choose Cornish initiative and we hold an EnjoyEngland breakfast award.

Guests can also enjoy lighter options such as smoked haddock with poached egg, creamy porridge with fruit and honey, bircher muesli or natural yogurt with homemade granola. Much of the menu is gluten free but please contact us if you have any specific dietary requirements.

Availability

A two night minimum stay applies and discounts are available for stays of five days or more. Our Superior rooms are available for single occupancy. 

Check in time is between 4pm and 6pm and please vacate by 10.30am on your departure day. A later check out may be available if arranged prior to your departure day.

Please note that we do not accept children and therefore have a minimum age requirement of 16 years old. 

We do not accept pets except for registered assistance dogs. 

Please contact us directly for groups bookings - bookings of more than two rooms cannot be made online.
