About this property

This beautifully styled contemporary bungalow boasts a spacious interior, just four minutes walk from the beach at stunning Widemouth Bay on the north Cornish coast. Detached with a wrap-around enclosed garden and off- street parking, Senafe makes the perfect seaside pad for families, friends and couples seeking a retreat for exploring both coast and countryside. Set on one floor, the accommodation has a nautical, coastal vibe with a good sized living/dining room for social gatherings for relaxation and good food, with wood burner for extra cosiness. The kitchen is smart with all mod cons and the little conservatory is a sunspot to retreat to with a book. Enjoy restful slumber in the three comfortable bedrooms. Dine alfresco in the garden, a safe haven for pets and children to play. The outside hot water shower is great for rinsing away sandy toes or pet paws after a surf or walkies along the scenic coast path, before firing up the barbecue with a tipple in the evening. Walk to sandy Widemouth Bay with beach cafe and surf school with gear and boards for hire and all-year round dog access. Within a 10-minute walk you have a shop for essential provisions, fresh fish, pasties and pies as well as a bar/restaurant. The local inn is a 15-minute stroll from Senafe, perfect for refreshment and Cornish food after a day by the sea.

A 5-minute drive away is colourful Bude resort, with beaches, galleries, restaurants, bars/inns, leisure centre with swimming pool, softplay and bowling, and larger shops.

Picturesque National Trust Boscastle with harbour (the farm Shop is a must-visit!) and historical Tintagel Castle is reached within a 30-minute drive.

On the outskirts of Bude, this small coastal hamlet looks out over one of the area’s top surfing beaches. Famous for its rugged coastline, tumbling surf and excellent walking, it’s the place to relax and unwind. Lively Bude, with its town, beaches, clubs, pubs and resort attractions is 3 miles away, while to the north the Coast Path winds its way over the cliff tops toward the lonely lighthouse at Hartland Point, and on to the beautiful cliff side village of Clovelly. Take the main ‘Atlantic Highway’ north from Bude and you’ll also pass the Big Sheep and Milky Way theme parks, both great days out. If you love the countryside but don’t want to be too far from the holiday action, this is the place to stay.

Nice to have an enclosed garden. Also - you know that conversation -"what this property could really do with" - none of that - it had everything ! - nice place ! Only point for me to raise - that is about the "Cottage rental market" - prices went thru the roof after Covid and not returned back. I think they ALL , well most, charge too much and will drive more back aboard !

Outside shower was a lifesaver after the beach . Gardens were tidy and secure which was great . Great location for exploring. Nothing to do with the property but a heads up about the noise from building work happening very close by would of been appreciated. Luckily we spent most the time out of the house but the days we had lunch there or came back in the afternoon it wasn't peaceful at all.
