Travel CotsA travel cot can be requested as part of your booking. Please be aware of the following:• Bedding is not provided — you must bring your own mattress and bedding for the cot.• You must follow the manufacturer’s safety instructions.• Do not use an additional mattress or padded bedding, such as pillows or quilts.• Please bring your own suitable bedding, such as an infant sleeping bag.• Contact reception on 01288 352563 for mattress dimensions if required.• Travel cots do not fit in any double/master bedrooms of Sandymouth’s static caravan accommodation.• If your accommodation has an unused twin room during your stay, the resort may be able to remove the beds to create a space — please contact reception to discuss.• Manufacturer instructions will be provided when the cot is issued.• Cots are cleaned in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidance after each use.For further information about safe sleeping in travel cots, please refer to guidance from organisations such as The Lullaby Trust.

PetsPlease ensure that your pet is included on your booking.If your pet has not been included, Darwin Escapes may relocate you to a pet-friendly lodge, subject to availability, or refuse access to the resort. You may also be responsible for any charges incurred.

Resort FacilitiesSandymouth’s facilities have a maximum capacity, so access may be limited at certain times of the day.Pre-booking is essential for restaurant dining and activities. Please contact the resort on 01288 352563 and choose the relevant department to make a booking.The swimming pool and Go Active activities will be closed on Mondays from 28 September 2026 to 8 February 2027, apart from the school holidays, when they'll run as normal on Monday 26 October, Monday 21 December and Monday 28 December. Normal Monday opening returns from 15 February 2027.

Electric Vehicle ChargingPlease note: Electric vehicles are strictly prohibited from being charged using the electricity supply provided by the accommodation.Guests must not use the accommodation’s electricity, sockets or other power supplies to charge an electric vehicle.

A takeaway and delivery service will be available from restaurants and bistros.

Arrival Information: Check-in is available from 16:00 although you are welcome to arrive earlier. To make your check in as smooth, quick and easy as possible, we’d like to request you call ahead for specific arrival information and to inform our reception team of your car registration number in advance of your arrival, particularly if you’re arriving outside of normal working hours. Please contact the resort reception on 01288 352 563.

Travel cot hire: You can request a travel cot on your booking. Please note, there is no bedding provided and the mattresses are folding, thin and firm and is provided by manufacturer. We require you to follow the safety instructions, which state not to use a secondary mattress or any padded bedding such as pillows or quilts. You must bring your own bedding (e.g infant sleep bags). Please contact reception for mattress dimensions should you require. For further information on safe sleeping in travel cots please refer to information available from sites such as the Lullaby Trust. Important travel COT information Manufacturers instructions are provided at the point of issue and cots are cleaned in line with these after each use. Please also be aware that travel cots may not fit in double/master bedrooms in selected units, please call reception on 01288 352563 for more information if a cot is needed.

Departure Information: Please ensure you leave the accommodation by 09:00am on your day of departure however you are more than welcome to use the facilities all day.

Pets: Please note, if you are planning on bringing your pet or animal on holiday, this must be included in your party make up when booking. If you arrive on holiday with an undeclared pet/animal, the park operators are entitled to either relocate you to suitable pet/animal-friendly accommodation (if available) or refuse access to the Park. You may also be liable for any Pet charge, cleaning costs and/or relocation costs incurred. Please check with the retreat prior to including any extra pets. Any pets arriving undeclared could be asked to leave the retreat if there is no pet accommodation available.

Group Bookings/Party Types: No Work vehicles or Workwear will be permitted on site. Un-authorised Work Parties will not be allowed to stay. A security deposit may be requested on arrival. Group bookings are not permitted on-site in December unless pre-approved by the park.

We aim to always assist you in making the most of your holiday and wanted to advise of essential maintenance work being carried out on the park on Tuesday the 7th June. The park have advised that the work being carried out will cause the water supply to stop for around an hour. The Park have assured us they will try their best to keep any disruptions to a minimum and will be on hand to assist with any enquiries if required. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you.

We’re excited to share that from 6th May to 3rd June 2025, we’ll be busy building something truly special — our brand new Pirate-Themed Play Area, set to launch in late-June 2025!

During this time, the outdoor play park area will be closed to allow for the construction work. However, there’s still plenty of fun to be had! Our outdoor splash area and indoor play area will remain open as usual, ensuring your family still has plenty of space to play and make memories.
