Millers Rest is a spacious and peaceful cottage in a beautiful rural setting near Bude, ideal for exploring North Cornwall. Burracott Farm offers the ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Set within a sheltered valley with superb countryside views all around yet just 3 miles from the glorious North Cornish coast. Cider Barn and Homeleigh Barn are semi-detached and have been lovingly converted to retaining much charm and character, whilst Millers Rest is a spacious single storey detached property. All 3 properties are coastal properties. Sheep and cattle graze in the fields surrounding the cottages and the area is a haven for wildlife. Whether surfing, walking, playing golf, fishing or simply relaxing this stunning holiday location has something for everyone. The popular resort of Bude lies just 5 miles away and has excellent shops and restaurants, many specialising in locally caught seafood, along with a golf course, tennis, riding, indoor ’Splash’ pool, bowling and three sandy beaches. Of the many varied activities for you to do in the area, you might like the idea of a fishing trip in one of the local fishing boats; or perhaps to see the area from a bird’s eye vantage point in a microlight aircraft from Davidstow Moor. The picturesque fishing villages of Boscastle and Tintagel are just 15 miles. Eden project and the wild beauty of Dartmoor, Exmoor and Bodmin Moors are all within easy driving distance. Shops 2½ miles, pubs 3 miles.

A really nice little barn conversion with great facilities which was the reason we booked as I had my 93 year old Mum with me. Good quality furniture and clean well equipped kitchen. The 2 wet rooms need some deep cleaning, the bedroom carpets hadn’t been vacuumed which was a shame. The tall lamp in the sitting room needs to replaced as the shade is broken and dirty and the vertical blinds over the French doors are also broken . We had a lovely sponge and fresh milk left in the fridge for us on arrival by the owner . Overall a good place to stay but in need of some attention to detail
