Hillside is located within the popular holiday park complex of Penstowe Park, just 3.5 miles from Sandymouth Beach. The lodge’s accommodation comprises a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, living/dining room, a kitchen and a bathroom. Wi-Fi is not available in the property, however it can be found at nearby local pubs.
Located near the historic village of Kilkhampton, Penstowe Park is ideally located for exploring the many delights of Cornwall and North Devon, including the nearby seaside surfing town of Bude with its Castle Heritage Centre and canal with many cafés and local artisan craft shops. Explore the areas made famous by Rick Stein, Doc Martin and Poldark and why not take a trip to the award-winning Eden Project? The famous village of Tintagel with its connections to the legend of King Arthur is just 23 miles away and well worth a visit to see the clifftop castle and its grounds. A torch is recommended if you’re arriving after dark. There is a coin meter for electricity accepting one pound coins; there will be a couple of pounds in the meter on your arrival, and please leave the same when you leave.

Just returned home after having a lovely week at Penstowe holiday park, the accommodation was fantastic value , although self catering there were so many extras in the chalet that you wouldn’t normally expect , the unit was clean and fresh, the bed was very comfortable, decent shower, spotless cooker, 10 minutes from all amenities and beach, loads to do and see, welcome text from owners on arrival, fresh milk tea coffee etc, site entertainment was basic but depends on what your after, would definitely return, wasn’t expecting it to be anywhere as good as it was due to price , A big thank you to Chris and Christina
