An all year round destination with plenty of shops and restaurants, the town also boasts an 18 hole links golf course, sport and leisure centre, bowling greens, coarse and sea fishing, and a choice of beach and beautiful clifftop walks. The picturesque fishing village of Port Isaac, with fine local cuisine and famed for its association with Doc Martin lies 23.5 miles to the west. Other places of interest include Tintagel (16.5 miles), The Eden Project (35.5 miles), Bodmin Moor (18 miles), and numerous National Trust properties. Six steps from the parking area lead down into the pretty courtyard garden.
