The open-plan living room come dining area is a great space to bring all the family together whether relaxing in front of the TV watching a favourite film or challenge yourselves to a board game on those wet and windy days. During the winter months, you can curl up by the wood burner and enjoy uninterrupted countryside views which looks out onto farmland and across the valley. From the living area, an original stone archway guides you into the contemporary kitchen and utility area. Well-equipped and complete with a range of appliances, enjoy many home-cooked meals using fresh, local ingredients which can be purchased from the local Post Office and Shop just 0.8 miles away. Once the evening draws to a close, rise to the first floor where you will find a king and twin bedroom linked by a hallway. Fitted with plush beds and quality bed linens for your comfort and enjoy stunning, far-reaching views across the surrounding fields from the master king bedroom. Run yourself a hot bath in the freestanding bath tub in the family bedroom on the first floor or there is a stylish shower room on the ground floor in the utility area, perfect to jump into the shower straight after a long walk on Bodmin Moor. Dine alfresco in the multi-level private garden where you have a choice of a sheltered patio area at the top of the garden or a picnic on the lawn. The small village of Blisland has access to a brilliant pub which serves award-winning local ales and serves traditional pub meals if you don't fancy cooking one evening, or pick up some ingredients for an evening meal at the Blisland Post Office. Pull on your wellies and take a stroll up to the wonderful open countryside of Bodmin Moor, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, boasting two high peaks for those keen hikers among you. As you enter Bodmin Moor from here, Jubilee Rock is within a few strides from the gate, a grade II listed large granite Rock decorated originally by Lieutenant John Rogers in 1810 to mark the Jubilee of George III and again by Queen Victoria. Standing on top of Jubilee Rock on a clear day provides an elevated view of the countryside. For a spot of history, visit Pencarrow House and Gardens dating back to the 18th century and set in landscaped gardens, perfect for exploring. Further afield, take a 30 minute drive to the North Cornwall coast of Rock, Daymer Bay, Padstow and Polzeath with miles of coastline to explore towards Port Isaac through to Tintagel and many restaurants serving delicious coastal delicacies. Make sure to visit Tintagel Castle, resting atop a cliff with some of the most beautiful views imaginable. Sleepy Fox is the perfect place to be for those who enjoy the secluded countryside.
