This cottage is a gem. Clean, spacious, well equipped. Walking distance to the pub but completely hidden away from the main road. The view from the lounge window is absolutely amazing. I would not hesitate to rent this property again and most likely will come back.

Gwendreath has obviously been recently decorated and furnished so was very clean and comfortable. All crockery and utensils appeared new too and everything we needed was there. Neighbours very friendly and view towards the Camel river from the pretty garden. Location is brilliant if you are looking to take or hire bikes. You can cycle straight onto the Camel Trail and being fairly central on it, you have easy access to Wadebridge and Padstow in one direction and Wenfordbridge in the other, along with access to further trails at LLanhydrock and Cardinham Woods. All trails are very pretty along the Camel and virtually flat. Also great for dog walking. A footpath directly across the trail takes you along the Camel river, which our dog loved for her early morning walk. The BBQ was a great addition for the sunny evenings we had. The friendly Borough Arms offers good quality pub food just along the trail. St Kew Inn got a big thumbs up from us, also Port William at Trebarwith Strand. Lovely cove and terrace at pub was lovely to watch the sun go down across the coastline. We have previously always stayed in or near Padstow, but this location opened our eyes to a much wider area and we would certainly come back.
