Centrally located between the Eden Project and Lanhydrock House in the heart of Cornwall with fantastic beaches a short drive away. To the south are the coastal towns of Fowey Looe and Charlestown. To the north lies the ever popular destinations of Port Isaac famed in the TV show Doc Martin Padstow Polzeath one of the countries surfing hot spots and the lovely village of Rock. From the cottage you can visit the local village pubs at Lanivet Luxulyan and Lanlivery. Lanlivery is situated on the ancient Saint s Way walk only 1.5 miles from the property. Lanhydrock cycle hub is only a 4 mile drive along with Helman Tor Nature Reserve a wetland area containing the remains of a Neolithic hill settlement. The Treffry Viaduct built by a local mine owner in 19th century to carry an industrial railway line also makes for an interesting and alternative day out. Other attractions include cycling at Cardinham the National Lobster Hatchery Newquay Zoo Karting at St Eval many National Trust properties and an 18 hole golf course in Bodmin. The property is accessed via narrow country lanes. Upon arrival at the property an annex to the owners accommodation and accessed via 4 external steps enter into the central hallway which leads to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This beautifully styled and welcoming space is the perfect place to relax after a day exploring take time to sink into the sofa relax and take in your favourite movie. From the lounge area French doors lead out onto the decking area. The kitchen area located just off from the lounge provides all you require for your holiday home cooking with an electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer and washing machine. The bedrooms and shower room are just off from the central hallway there are two bedrooms a king-size with views over the countryside dressed in a light palette and a double with a large Velux window allowing light to flood in. The shower room has a rainfall shower and WC. Heading outside there is a lovely decked area that can be accessed via the lounge/kitchen/diner with garden furniture and gas BBQ which enjoys far reaching countryside views. Wander the owner s garden with turtle pond and ornamental Koi pond. Or enjoy the owner s outdoor heated swimming pool (unfenced) available June - September inclusive for use between 9am - 4pm. There is off-road parking for two cars available. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 king size and 1 double. 1 shower room. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine.
