Set beside the scenic River Stour, this welcoming holiday home offers a fantastic base for exploring Christchurch, the Dorset coast, Hampshire and the beautiful New Forest.

A shared approach leads to a private covered carport and the entrance to this attached, multi-level property. Inside, stairs rise to the first floor, where you’ll find a comfortable lounge with a Smart TV—perfect for unwinding after a busy day by the coast. Patio doors open onto the outside space, while a convenient separate WC is also located on this level.

Continue upstairs to the sociable kitchen and dining area, well equipped for preparing everything from leisurely breakfasts to relaxed evening meals. Two of the property’s three bedrooms are also found on this floor: one double and one twin. A further flight of stairs leads to the spacious king-size bedroom, which benefits from its own private balcony with a bistro table and chairs. Catching the late afternoon and evening sunshine, it’s a lovely place to sit with a drink. A contemporary shower room completes the accommodation.

Outside, the lounge opens onto a private patio with garden furniture and a shared lawn beyond. Guests can also enjoy a communal seating area beside the river, where you can sit back and watch the boats and activity on the water. A shared gas barbecue and gas pizza oven are available for relaxed al fresco dining.

Christchurch has a lively high street filled with independent shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants. Visit the magnificent 11th-century priory, enjoy a family afternoon at The Quomps splash park and play area, or head east to explore historic Highcliffe Castle.

Within 3 miles, you’ll find an excellent choice of beaches and attractions. Walk across Hengistbury Head for far-reaching coastal views towards the Isle of Wight, spend the day at Mudeford Beach and Quay, or discover the cafés and restaurants of Southbourne. Lively Bournemouth is also within easy reach, while the New Forest offers miles of scenic walking and cycling routes.
