Some minor feedback on kitchen equipment suggests room for improvement.

Guests consistently describe the property as clean and comfortable, indicating high standards of cleanliness throughout.

The property's location is commended for its proximity to local attractions, making it a great base for exploring the area.

The reviews highlight the property's comfort, with special mentions of comfy beds and the ability to accommodate large groups without feeling crowded.

Overall, the facilities are well-received, especially the garden and lodge. However, a mention of the kitchen lacking some equipment slightly lowers the score.

We have 10 people in house across 3 generations and it was a lovely house, location and well presented.

We were a group of 5 adults (and two dogs) and had an excellent week in Moorlands. The location is great for visiting Wells, Glastonbury, Frome and the Avalon Marshes Centre were an unexpected bonus. The open plan layout was ideal for social activities - in our case mainly 'gin and jigsaw' evenings and board games. We took advantage of the invitation to help ourselves to garden produce and had a delicious rhubarb and apple crumble, and lit the firepit in the garden one evening. There is also a lodge in the garden, which we didn't use, but I can imagine it would be a magical place for children. Evensong in Wells Cathedral was another highlight. The kitchen was light on some equipment (e.g. a mixing bowl), but overall we would highly recommend Moorlands.

Our second time at Moorlands, the large garden, with lovely wendy house, was perfect for the grandchildren and the dog to run off steam and the house was spacious enough, and so well equipped, that it never felt crowded with ten of us in it.
