Unfortunately this is the first time I’ve had to post something negative regarding a property I’ve stayed at. My heart sank as I rounded the corner of the annex to the main property as I could instantly see a huge privacy issue regarding the location of the hot tub’s proximity in relation to the annex and the owner’s property. The hot tub as always for us is the first most important feature that we put in the search engine. My wife and I decided we wouldn’t be using the hot tub within minutes of arriving given that it was located furthest away from the annex yet directly opposite the homeowners lounge/conservatory. We really didn’t feel comfortable walking to and from the hot tub in such close proximity to the owners house let alone use it, this coupled with the amount of surveillance cameras one of which points straight towards the hot tub area was the nail in the coffin. I believe a hot tub is a hugely private place to be enjoyed and yes there were some curtains to pull across to block out the owners home this would have totally enclosed the hot tub on all four sides with no view out at all?Twice this issue kept me awake until the early hours of the morning during our trip but I didn’t have the heart to tell the owner to his face. I will say that the accommodation whilst small was immaculately clean with an abundance of linen and towels etc and the shower fantastic and the bed comfortable. Thankfully the weather was nice but very regrettably we couldn’t bring ourselves to use the hot tub as really didn’t feel comfortable. Others my be comfortable with the arrangement whilst others certainly won’t be.

What a great experience we had at little Nauvoo, private hot tub and BBQ. The host was incredible and easy going, he would go above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The accommodation was sup clean and fresh. We had the best time ever. Close to Bath and drive to local farms and farm markets. Definitely recommend it and will visit again. 🥰🥰

Nicely presented cottage with good amenities, very quiet.Some negatives were the sky tv links to the main house sky tv, it often freezes or drops signal altogether for several minutes at a time.The hot tub had an issue after a couple of days and was drained and refilled, after this it felt like the chlorine? content was too strong, we have both been left with red, itchy, irritated skin. The hot tub is a big feature for us.The only other issue was the heating would come on at night with no way to turn it down, the thermostatic radiator valve didn't seem to work.
