Very comfortable cottage. Plenty of places to visit, like Bath and Bristol via park and ride. Also very enjoyable days out, e.g. Lacock Abbey.

A Perfect Rural Retreat – The Stables, BathWe had the most wonderful week at The Stables in Bath – a true hidden gem! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The host is a lovely, accommodating lady who clearly puts so much care into making guests feel welcome. The accommodation itself is spotless, warm, and beautifully inviting – the perfect idyll for a relaxing getaway. It strikes a perfect balance between modern comfort and cottage charm, with tasteful interiors that feel both stylish and cosy. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the bedding and towels were immaculately clean and fresh, which made settling in so easy. One of the highlights was the thoughtful welcome package waiting for us – such a beautiful touch after a long journey and a lovely way to start the holiday.Although The Stables is set in a peaceful rural location, it’s just a short drive to shops and amenities, so you get the best of both worlds – tranquillity and convenience.Having access to a washer and dryer was a real bonus too – it took all the stress out of returning home with a mountain of laundry! If you're looking for a serene escape with all the comforts of home (and more), I can’t recommend The Stables enough. It’s a place you’ll want to return to again and again.
