The location is praised for its quietness and proximity to Bath and other attractions, though access via narrow lanes was a concern for one guest.

While the property is generally found to be cosy and quiet, some guests experienced issues with low sofas and the lack of a dining table, affecting the comfort score.

The Piggery is equipped with modern amenities and a well-kitted kitchen. However, some guests noted the absence of a full cooker and difficulties with a Velux window, which impacts the facilities score.

The cottage is cosy and peaceful and the hosts are very responsive. The only problem for us is that the only roads to get there are small farmers lanes (unles we mised something) that are not wide enough for two cars. But if that's ok with you then it's a great stay.

I booked this property without checking all the details but I think it’s important to prevent others from making the same mistake. It really wasn’t suitable for my husband who has a problem with his balance1. No table or chairs to have a relaxing meal.2. Sofa so low my husband found it extremely difficult to get up from. 3. Velux roof window was really difficult to close - small step was provided but my husband fell over trying to cope. Consequently I climbed up on the kitchen units to complete the task. (Even with the step I wasn’t tall enough to reach). The cooker hob was in the bottom of the kitchen units and quite awkward to get out. Obviously room on work surface was necessary to set up hob.Even abled bodied people could experience difficulties with some of the above. On the positive side. Bedding, crockery, towels were all of a lovely quality. The owner’s John and Tracey were helpful and polite. Milk was left for us in the fridge together with some yummy chocolate biscuits.
