About this property

Take a break in beautiful countryside at Cedar Lodge, nestled in South Downs National ParkTake a break in beautiful countryside at Cedar Lodge, nestled in South Downs National Park

Spend some time with the people that matter most in the inspiring landscape of the South Downs National Park. Cedar Lodge is a two bedroom lodge surrounded by peaceful countryside and it's home to stylish features throughout.

The lodge's open plan design creates a bright and welcoming home from home, while the floor to ceiling windows mean you can enjoy its rural location without even the sofa. With plenty to do and explore outside and the comfort of a cosy woddburner to cuddle up around inside, Cedar Lodge is perfect in any season, come rain or shine.

As the living area opens out onto the private terrace you can make the most of your time in the countryside, and the decking's furnished with a table and chairs so you can sit back and listen to the sound of silence.

Set in the South Downs National Park, a stay in Cedar Lodge is a real opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Along this 160 kilometre National Trail, you can walk through ancient woodlands, carpeted with bluebells; watch roe deer darting through wildflower meadows; witness hares boxing or even spot a red kite hunting above.

There's so much to do and see in the South Downs area, from walking, cycling or horse riding across the Downs, exploring wildlife in the wetlands, visiting one of the many heritage sites to experiencing opera at the world famous Glyndebourne. You can rely on this property to supply everything you need to keep you occupied during your stay.
The site is adjacent to Hassocks community football club, it is likely guests will hear some low level match noise during games.

...partner and parents. When we arrived we found cake, bread, milk tea and coffee had been provided, which was very thoughtful and welcome after 3-4 hours in the car. The accommodation was very clean, spacious and modern. The large living area that comprised kitchen, dining room and lounge was light and airy with two large double doors that lead to the decking area. We sat outside on many occasions relaxing on the sun loungers. Although the lodge is one of five, you never felt overlooked. To summarise, Cedar lodge is very well maintained holiday home that is equipped with high quality fittings and is located in lovely surroundings. Home from Home! Submitted by Jamie on 31/08/2016

...Lodge in April 2016. High quality, comfortable, very well equipped and extremely clean holiday accommodation. Generous welcome pack and unexpected extras such as bath robes and quality toiletries were a most pleasant surprise. We loved the artwork by M Nee and intend to visit his forthcoming exhibition at the garden centre next to the location of these lodges. We would definitely not hesitate to recommend staying at these lodges. Submitted by Debra on 21/04/2016
