About this Inn

The Woolpack Inn is a traditional family run pub offering homely accommodation in the popular Chichester area. Dating back to 1937, this Inn provides guests with all the modern facilities to make for a comfortable stay and is ideal for a family holiday or a getaway with friends.

There are a number of different size rooms available, including single, double, twin and triple. All of these rooms have en- suite bathrooms and are well- equipped with entertainment systems such as a Freeview enabled TV, DVD, radio and CD player.

No pets allowed. Check in from 2-11pm, check out from 7-11am. Strictly no smoking. Free parking. Packed lunches can be arranged for guests on request. Dine in the pub with licensed bar, that serves delicious home cooked food, with a childrens menu available.

Around and About

The local Fishbourne area is filled with English heritage sites, as around 46AD it was the place where the Romans first landed in England. The north wing of the famous Fishbourne Roman Palace lies just 100 yards away from the pub, and the south wing is directly underneath the pub- history buffs are sure to be impressed with the mosaics and recreated Roman gardens. Take the guided tour and discover how the Romans lived thousands of years ago!

Other fun activities within easy reach include the nearby golf course, fishing and hiking. The inn is the ideal base for exploring the chalk hills and National Park at South Downs, as well as Chichester Harbour.
