I was in need of a recharge by the coast and found this place which looked perfect for my dog and I. To be so close to the sea was just amazing. At low tide in the morning and evening I could take just a few steps from The Hideout and be out walking my dog along a glorious sandy beach with hardly anyone but a few other locals walking their dogs in sight. I enjoyed a beautiful sunset with the beach to myself on the Saturday night. Loved listening to the waves when I relaxed in the garden to give my dog a rest from all the walking. It's a little suntrap! The accommodation has everything you could need, is really comfortable, and Carol the host was so helpful whenever I had a question. The perfect place to relax, enjoy coastal walks and with really friendly locals. Highly recommend and I will be returning!

A perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of life. A wonderful location right next to the village green and the beach. The Hideout was well equipped and comfortable with an enclosed outdoor area perfect for relaxing in the sunshine, listening to the waves and smelling the sea air. Inside the accommodation had everything we needed and Carol, the owner is a very welcoming and helpful host.

The property is absolutely delightful, beautifully presented, clean and every detail thought of. The hosts are lovely people and couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. Fantastic location by the sea and green with walks in either direction along the coast. We also visited East and West Wittering, Chichester Marina, Dell Quay and Pagham Harbour for some lovely walks and pubs with great food! The Hideout is a gorgeous little place to stay in a special area, would highly recommend:) Thank you so much, Carol and Steve x
