Guests say

The Owl House is highly praised for its peaceful and remote setting, immaculate gardens, and attentive hosts, Camilla and Tim. Guests enjoyed the spacious, high-standard accommodation, with special mentions of the well-equipped kitchen, cosy log fire, and on-site facilities like a tennis court. The property's location offers easy access to Southampton, Portsmouth, and Southsea, with plenty of nearby attractions and dining options. The rural Wi-Fi may be patchy, but the overall experience is one of relaxation and comfort, suitable for all ages and perfect for a tranquil retreat.

Reviews consistently mention the property being immaculately clean, with no negative comments on cleanliness, indicating guests were very satisfied with the standard of hygiene.

The location is described as peaceful and good for relaxation, with easy access to local attractions. The only minor drawback mentioned is the patchy Wi-Fi due to the rural setting.

Guests found the house to be warm, cosy, and beautifully furnished, providing a comfortable environment for a winter stay, as well as airy and spacious for group gatherings.

The property boasts excellent on-site facilities, including a tennis court and extensive grounds. The only minor issue was the mention of ongoing work on an old barn, but it did not interfere with the holiday experience.

While the reviews reflect positively on the hosts' attentiveness and the property's amenities, there are no specific mentions of gifts, so it is not possible to assess thoughtfulness in this context.

The Owl House was perfect for our Christmas stay near family and friends. Camilla met us when we arrived and explained all the amenities. The house was a perfect home from home with beautifully furnished rooms. The facilities for children were perfect for when our young grandchildren visited and the toy cupboard a huge hit! They loved the garden, pond and tennis court for watching the ducks and burning off excess energy. We visited the local pub the Hampshire Bowman where the Sunday lunch was delicious…but do book, and the Hambledon vineyard is 15 mins away by car. We would highly recommend The Owl House and hope to visit again. Thank you Camilla and Tim.
