The property is a large converted barn which has been developed into 4 flats. This quaint duplex apartment with it's exposed beams is located on the first floor with the bedroom on the 2nd floor. Finally, the bathroom at the property has a bath (no shower), basin and WC. The location, in the quiet village of Fawley, offers a perfect opportunity to explore the New Forest National Park. There is plenty to see and do nearby, whether you want to relax visiting the New Forest with it's ponies and donkeys roaming wild, or be more energetic with cycling/walking or horse riding along many of the Forest tracks. Just a 15 minute walk from the apartment takes you to Ashlett Creek and the Jolly Sailor in an idyllic location on Southampton Water. Just down the road we have Calshot Spit with it's historic castle and Activity Centre, for sailing, climbing walls and indoor ski slopes. Nearby there are many quaint villages and markets to visit, either in the New Forest or on the coastal areas of the Solent and Southampton Water. Lively Southampton which is 10 miles away, can be reached by either ferry from Hythe, or by car. If you're after more of a cultural experience, there are various churches, tourist points and tours which you can attend to enrich yourself with knowledge and history.
