Southsea is a bustling seaside resort with shoreside gardens and a long beach, as well as funfair rides at South Parade Pier, the Blue Reef Aquarium and a model village. The moated Southsea Castle, built by Henry viii, has cannons and views across the Solent, whilst the Kings Theatre is an Edwardian landmark. Have a relaxing day strolling, kite flying or indulging in a picnic on the beach, or surrounding gardens. Alternatively, you can find an abundance of places to eat serving fresh local produce and an array of independent shops, whilst the evening comes alive with several bars, including a gin bar, a summer champagne bar and craft ale bar.
