Gardeners Cottage is a wonderfully presented three bedroom period property set in the peaceful village of Shipton-under-Wychwood. With original traditional stonework, exposed beams and a wood burning stove, this is a perfect holiday home in the stunning Oxfordshire countryside.
In addition to the three double bedrooms, one of which is en-suite, and the large family bathroom, this delightful property enjoys two sitting rooms, a large fully equipped kitchen, separate dining room seating six guests, and a large private walled garden. A courtyard area with a table and seating for six guests and a further comfortable seating area for four.
Shipton-under-Wychwood village is within walking distance from the cottage and is a great base from which to explore the vibrant city of Oxford and the gems of the Cotswolds, all just a short drive away. Guests can enjoy many country walks on the doorstep along with cycle paths in abundance, with many quaint tea rooms and pubs close by. Diddly Squat fans can visit the televised farm shop, café and pub, less than six miles from the cottage. Shipton-under-Wychwood is a great base for those who would like a taste of village life. With a short walk you can pick up your morning paper, whilst the two village pubs, The Wychwood Inn, and The Lamb Inn offer a choice of local ales and delightful food.
