We had a lovely time at Radcot cottage. It is very conveniently located close to Kelmscott manor and an easy drive to Oxford. Itâs just next to a very nice pub (not for the food though) and having a drink there every evening was very enjoyable. Charles, our host, welcomed us with a delicious cake and invited us to visit his family gardens. I strongly recommend this rental except if you are travelling with children who canât swim or with children who canât manage stars without falling. I wouldnât go with an elderly person as the three bedrooms are upstairs. There was only one problem: the beds are fine but being used to a King sized bed the two adults in our party did find the bed a bit narrow (it was the same size as in our hotel in London and the staff kept saying it was very large so maybe all beds are like that in Britain!). Other than that it was perfect. And the showers actually worked which was a pleasant surprise (British plumbing being terrible in our experience). We would love to come back. I recommend a very nice pub « the red dukes » ( not sure of the name): very good food!
