I thought the location and architecture were beautiful but the fixtures and fittings were low quality. The restaurant was very basic with the feel of a school canteen and the wine list was basic

You had to lock your bedroom doors otherwise anyone could walk in from outside. Also we booked as we wanted self catering, but the facilities were rubbish, we even had to ask for a pan to cook our dinner as none avaliable and were unable to properly cook as not enough equipment and not even any salt / pepper etc. Worst self catering facilities I've stay in.
