Very well equipped in the kitchen. Bedrooms are all spacious. Amble off street parking. The on drive parking is only suitable for a small car might broth mentioning. The cottage is in need of some painting - marks on walls in bedrooms etc - we had noted a review mentioned this in September but clearly nothing has been done . Disappointing for the amount of money we paid . The main living area is really dark we had to bring lamps from the bedroom as the main lamp was not working could do with additional lamps .

A lovely stay in this spacious but cosy home in a pretty, quiet village. The heating system worked really well and was easy to use. The log burner was a lovely addition to the large living room. Plenty of hot water served the good quality bathrooms. The beds were super comfy and insured a good nights sleep by all. The Kitchen was well equipped and the welcome goodies a nice touch. We hope to return for a longer stay soon.

Instructions on how to use the belling Stove in the Kitchen would have been extremely useful, We found the cottage very well equipped, There were marks on the walls which could have been easily cleaned off and the hall floor could have been cleaner. The bedding and beds were very comfy and although it is a large cottage, the heating was easy to use and we found it very cosy. Outside the tables and chairs were covered in sticky red berries, so despite the weather being good we were unable to sit out, maybe covers would be an idea. We found that the berries were sticking to our shoes and as such were being carried into the Cottage which was awkward for us all. It says in the blurb that there is parking for one car, but anything bigger than a very small car would be impossible to fit into the drive. The gates on the drive need adjusting and maybe some W D forty on it. It would also have been good if there was somewhere to sit in the bedrooms to apply makeup and attend to your hair, even if it was a small shelf and you could sit on the bed, would be better than none at all.
