Cozy fire inside and out, I didn't use the hot tub as was a bit too cold outside. Bed is so cozy with a great view to wake up to, also very nice supplies left by the owner for our stay. You must also check out the brewery not far from the site with a taproom attached, is very welcoming and also has a farm shop on site. Next time I return I will do it when I can do some fishing, this place is perfect for this. Remember to bring your license if you plan to do this, as you will need it. Great and cozy stay!!!

We then had extreme dificulty finding the lodge, with poor instructions and signage all over. When we finally found the lodges ours was not on the map and somehow we were supposed to know it is the first one you come to. We then only booked this lodge for the hot tub, we were given 1 bag of wood and no way of getting any more and the instructions to get the hot tub going were very limited, a 45 second video. We were also not told how long it might take. we never managed to get the hot tub going and there was little insturction. then a woman showed up on the morning of us leaving and told me i should of rang her and she would of done it. thats ncie to know as you are leaving.

1 thing I would change is the fact that spiders and cobwebs were in every corner & we actually left a night early because we just didn’t feel comfortable, I know we are out in the middle of nowhere but it looked like they had been there ages. (I have a really bad phobia) But all in all we had a really good stay, the bed and sofa was super comfy, we will recommend to all of our friends and family!
