About The Vineyard

Situated in the historic Lamberhurst vineyards, in the heart of the High Weald aonb, The Vineyard is a charming heritage inn with rooms and a restaurant.  Appointed to a high standard, and featuring furnishings made from natural materials, The Vineyard is perfect for business, leisure and romantic escapes in the Kent countryside.  Surrounding the inns sits a spacious garden area with ample outdoor seating, perfect for al fresco drinks and dining in summer.

Enjoy traditional English cuisine with a selection of French brasserie meals also on the menu.  Food is locally and regionally sourced where possible, using the finest ingredients.  Walks are direct from the pub door leading towards popular local beauty spots.  The Vineyard is just a stone's throw from Bewl Water, Tunbridge Wells and the famous Pantiles, Sissinghurst Castle Gardens, Scotney and Penshurst. 

Rooms

We have four beautifully styled elegant rooms, each furnished in their own individual style and housed in our old 13th century coach house.  Rooms are the perfect blend of contemporary luxury and traditional charm, and include:-

The Scotney Master Suite - a wonderful beamed double with en-suite bathroom, accessed via a feature spiral staircase. Containing a lounge area with king-size sofa. Light and airy living space, private terrace and views across to the grounds.

The Bewl Master Suite - located in the old coach house - the oldest area of the inn. A stunning light and airy beamed family suite with an en-suite bathroom.  Lounge with king-size sofa bed and private terrace. Views of the pub grounds.

The Bacchus Suite - also in the old coach house, recently restored to great effect, this double suite has a cosy snug area, which opens onto a private terrace with views of the gardens. En-suite bathroom included.  Accessed via a feature spiral staircase.

The Bayham Suite - a superb double suite, beautifully restored befitting the old 13th century coach house. Spacious with contemporary furnishings and a cosy snug area. Spiral staircase access and a great en-suite bathroom.

Food & Drink

Our menu choice includes a lunch, dinner and breakfast menu.  Enjoy Afternoon tea, and sample fine wines from our extensive wine list.  Other menus available include a children's menu, private dining brochures and our special Sunday menu.  Wedding brochures and menu choice can be made available on request, and we also have a great summer BBQ menu.

The pub is open Monday to Friday, 11.30am to 11pm, on Saturday from 9am to 11pm and on Sundays from 9am to 11pm.  The kitchen serving food is open Monday to Friday 12 noon to 3pm, and from 6pm to 9.45pm.  Saturday from 9am to 9.45pm, and on Sunday from 9am to 9pm. 

Special Occasions

The Vineyard is the ideal venue for wedding parties and that special private dining event.  Please do contact us and our events co-ordinator direct to discuss all your wedding and private dining requirements. 

Directions

Lamberhurst and the inn are easily reached off the A21 south from Tunbridge Wells, and at the roundabout take the third exit which is signposted for Lamberhurst - then follow the brown signs for Lamberhurst Vineyard.

Check-in and Check-out

Check in between 15:30 to 18:30. Check out between 07:00 - 12:30.
