Overlooking Britain's only Royal Harbour in Ramsgate, The Oak Hotel is just 300 metres from the beach and stylishly appointed throughout, featuring 34 en-suite guest rooms, a cafe bar and lounge bar, function room and The Restaurant Sixty Six and Bar.  We're ideally situated close to the ferry port and town centre amenities, and the popular Westwood Cross shopping centre is conveniently nearby.  Top spots in the wider Kent and Thanet area including Canterbury, Broadstairs, Margate and Sandwich are all within an easy drive.  Guests can pick up 24 hour parking tickets for the local Leopold Street multi storey car park from reception - the cost per parking ticket is just £2.90. 

Rooms - 34

Our 34 guest rooms all include 32" LCD TVs, tea and coffee making facilities, free WiFi and modem points for laptops, hairdryers and direct dial telephones.  Rooms are stylish and recently refurbished, with a choice of single, double, twin and family rooms available across four floors. Eight guest rooms boast beautiful harbour views.  We also offer luxury honeymoon and executive suites with deluxe Whirlpool baths.  Extra beds can be provided for a small additional fee.  We also have reduced rates for single occupancy of a double room.

Food & Drink

Relax in our cosy lounge bar with tasty cuisine served all day, along with a range of spirits, wines and beers.  We also have our Caffe Roma, an Italian style coffee bar on the ground floor (with wheelchair access) and breakfast available to residents and non residents, open from 6.30am, Monday to Saturday, and from 8am on Sundays.  A choice of delectable Italian coffees are available.

Restaurant 66 is an elegant dining space - our great team of chefs have created an imaginative and tasty range of dishes from daily specials to British classics.  The restaurant is open on Sunday from 12 noon to 4pm, and on Monday to Thursday from 12 noon to 2.30pm, and 6.30pm to 9pm.  On Friday the restaurant is open from 12pm to 2.30pm, and from 6.30pm to 9.30pm.  Saturday opening times are 12 noon to 9.30pm.

Facilities/Weddings/Functions

Our first floor Tiffany Suite is self-contained, with its own private balcony affording stunning views towards the marina and Royal Harbour. The room is perfect for a variety of functions, conference events, celebrations and receptions, featuring its own private bar, wcs and air conditioning.  Buffets are available for up to 100 guests, and a choice of set menus are served.
