An exceptional place to stay- so good for our rescue dog to be able to roam the garden without any worries. It was peaceful and quiet - with the hot tub a really luxurious bonus. The lodge itself was cosy and clean. Will definitely be back.

We had an excellent weekend away at Poppy Lodge. We arrived late Friday and the outdoor lights and gardens were really welcoming and magical. The Lodge itself is beautiful, comfortable and cosy and we felt relaxed almost instantly. The hot tub and private grounds made it a perfect retreat from the world to reset and relax ahead of a busy few weeks ahead. The recommendations for local places to eat and visit really helped us to decide where to go and use our time wisely and enjoy our evening meal in town. Host was great with communications and we loved it so much we've booked to come again next year.

Had a lovely stay at Poppy Lodge, the garden was totally secure for our German shepherd and great that you drive in, shut the gate and she was free to roam. Very peaceful and the hot tub was amazing. Everything you needed was there and was very warm and cosy. The local town, which unfortunately, is too far to walk due to the country lanes, had a few pubs but the Hair of the Dog micro pub was great, really friendly and worth a visit.
