So whether packing a picnic or preparing a delicious evening meal, the designated cook will find everything they need, while the other party members can decide whether to spend a day on the sandy beaches that Margate is famous for, or cycling or walking the Viking Coastal Trail, which covers over 32 miles of breathtaking countryside and coastline.

Whatever your ability there is a route to suit, and if you should feel the strain, then you can always hop on a train. The local bus stop gives you access to the Thanet Loop which allows you to buy a day or week pass and gives you excellent access to the whole of the Isle of Thanet. Margate Train Station is approximately half mile. Returning to this lovely holiday home you can settle down in the sitting room, also furnished in the retro style, where you can watch Now TV, enjoy playing a board game or just sit and read before bedtime. If you are looking to dine out there are many good restaurants, quirky tea rooms and delicious fish and chips to savour, the choice is endless. The long sandy beaches are a children's dream, with donkey rides, crazy golf, ice creams and deckchair hire for the grown-ups who just want to sit and snooze! This historic seaside town with its Theatre Royal dating back to 1787 offers entertainment for everyone, from fishing and golf to beaches and amusements. Margate is a lovely coastal town retaining its history but offering up to date entertainment for all ages with a variety of interests. Margate train station is approximately half a mile from the apartment.
