    About this property

A charming, family home with country views in a traditional English village, the ideal location to enjoy Goodnestone Park Gardens, Wingham Wild Life Park and the nearby coast.

Located in a perfect tranquil location for a relaxing holiday, with a pretty enclosed garden with the most beautiful far reaching country views, situated within the picturesque village of Goodnestone, near Canterbury, Kent.

The home is well equipped for an effortless week away and includes an inviting log burner to enjoy in the cooler weeks of the year while relaxing with the ample supply of DVD's and Games .

The cottage can be found in the heart of the village, tucked out of the way in an area of outstanding natural beauty, walking distance to Goodnestone Park Gardens, with its connections with Jane Austen and open to the public during the warmer months of the year.

A walker’s and cyclist’s paradise can be found just on the door step. For the more adventurous, numerous trails lead on for miles and for those looking to take it easy, why not make the easy five-minute walk to ‘The Street’ and stop in at the local traditional pub, quite the haven!

"Honey cottage was more that adequately equipped, home from home. So much so we didn't want to leave! One of the best rented properties we have stayed in - and we have stayed in many all over the world. I would happily return to this accommodation or recommend it to anyone. Village is friendly, Fitzwater Arms welcoming - dog lovers abound !"

"Honey Cottage is amazing. So peaceful and quiet. It is equipped with everything you could possible want games, books and free wifi. Although the weather was not great we did manage to sit in the garden for a time during the evening. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone wanting a relaxing break."
