Just two miles away is Hythe, a pretty Kent town on the coast, with a good array of independent shops, restaurants, cafes and a gentle shelving beach so is ideal for keen swimmers and water sport enthusiasts. For those wanting to explore further afield, hop in the car and take a trip to nearby Port Lympe Safari Park (5 miles) or venturing slightly further afield is Dover Castle (13 miles) and the historical city of Canterbury (18 miles), which is home to the cathedral and Marlowe Theatre.

A warm welcome awaits as you step inside this charming lodge where you will find a comfy open-plan living space, decorated in natural tones that are enhanced by the outdoor surroundings. A comfy sofa for two is the perfect spot for watching the Smart TV, whilst the well-equipped kitchen area offers everything you may need for whipping up a delicious meal for two that can be enjoyed at the dining table with seating. A perfectly positioned farmhouse chair by the full-length window offers the ideal location for admiring the outside wildlife or for savouring the warmth of the electric flame effect wood burner. After a relaxing day exploring the local area head to the double bedroom for the perfect night’s sleep. The en-suite shower room completes this property.

Externally the lodge has an outdoor drying room for wet coats and boots, and a covered seating area which is perfect for listening to the sounds of nature, whatever the weather may be. The decking extends outwards to provide a sun trap on warmer days where you will find a picnic table with seating, and a stone BBQ which can be dual purpose either as a charcoal BBQ or a fire pit for those chilly evenings. Completing the outdoor area is a private wood fired hot tub – perfect for relaxing and admiring the stars on a clear night.
