Accessed through the arched gateway of the main house, the cottage overlooks the host's beautiful formal gardens, with a natural swimming pool, and has a relaxed and comfortable air. Elham Village is close to the old Roman road of Stone Street that links the coast to the historic city of Canterbury making the location ideal to visit the seaside or make the most of all that Canterbury has to offer with its famous cathedral, a variety of restaurants, shopping, theatre and beautiful gardens within the city walls. Or why not walk the Elham Valley Way that runs from Hythe, one of the original Cinque Ports, to Canterbury via Elham. Hythe is great for great for water sports, sailing, paddle boarding, canoeing and sea fishing.

Great location in the picturesque Elham Valley approx 150 yards from the nearest shops and pub and a plethora of walks straight from the door. The property is well appointed, easily sleeps six and is situated in fabulous child / dog friendly grounds that are great for watching nature ( loads of squirrels and birds ) and which includes a natural swimming pool which is ordinarily heated. We also found this to be a great base for exploring Kent but also London which is only 38mins on the fast trains. Highly recommend
