About this Bed and Breakfast

Family friendly and ideally situated for exploring the Kent and Sussex coasts, our Waterside Guest House in Dymchurch nestles within Kent's pretty Romney Marsh area packed with wetland nature reserves and classic vintage attractions like the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway. Gentle cycling and walking trails surround us and Waterside is within minutes of Blue Flag Dymchurch beach and just a short drive from rspb Dungeness and magnificent beaches across the Sussex border in Camber.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

Cosy and with personal service assured, we offer a choice of two double/ twin guest rooms, one of which is available to single occupants, and a large family room sleeping up to two adults and two children. All guest rooms have en-suite facilities. 

Check out time is 10am.

Breakfast

Locally sourced, home-cooked breakfasts are served in the dining room overlooking Romney Marsh or on our outdoor terrace in warm weather. Vegetarians can be catered for by prior arrangement.

Other Facilities

Cots and high chairs can be made available on request. Relax with a drink in our atmospheric oak beamed bar and enjoy an extensive range of on-site facilities including off road parking, WiFi and Freeview TV. Ironing facilities and hair dryers are available. Packed lunches can be provided by arrangement.

Room rates include a full English breakfast. Children over 16 years old are charged at the adult rate.

Transport links to France are conveniently close and we're open year round, extending a warm welcome to all, from families, business guests and couples to travel stopovers and nature lovers. A bus route sits just a short walk from the guest house and we're easily reached off the M20 motorway. 

Book our guest house for the Sussex and Kent Cinque Port Trail - we're within easy touring distance of heritage Cinque Ports Hythe, Rye and Winchelsea.
