We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this unique accommodation. Some very unique features, excellent attention to detail, and the beds were very comfortable which were not your typical hotel type. The host was very friendly and helpful and responded quickly to any queries even though clearly very busy with helping to run the farming business. Would highly recommend.

We would recommend "The Oast" as accomodation within Lenham. Having recently stayed there for a week (four adults / two dogs) it was relaxing and nicely located. The owner who lived on site was always available if needed, the accomodation was well equipped. Unfortunately, we stayed during a recent heat wave, the accomodation came with two bedroom fans. We planned ahead and brought 5 extra fans. Even with this many the property maintained high temperatures. Bedroom two (situated at top of the Oast onnthe 1st floor) was unbearable at times. We accept this was bad timing but maybe one to avoid when these heat waves are around. The wooden floor was very slippery for the dogs and people, even the front door matt would slide on it which was a little dangerous when stepping in. Shame as it looks good. The property promotes itself as being dog friendly (self contained patio area etc). However, it the joining instructions it asks:"If your dog needs to relieve themselves, kindly use the grassed area at the front of the property rather than the patio". If this was in the advert we wouldn't have selected the property, a 20metre walk through two gates to get to a piece of grass. Which was at the road side and not secure.We understand this request due to the smell from urine but we question if its fully pet friendly with this in place. Beyond the above the property was lovely and the hosts were nice. Recommended in a normal climate and without dogs.

We found the accommodation comfortable and worked for us. I was expecting more of the countryside views directly from the accommodation but having said that we were on a working farm and obviously the buildings did obscure the view. The owner was extremely helpful and gave us plenty of info on where to go and where to eat. Unfortunately the previous guests had broken the dishwasher and it couldn’t be fixed till the last day of our stay which was a shame. We Would recommend The Oast
