About this Holiday Cottage

Dating from around 1732, Shepherds Farm House in Lenham is a beautifully presented period property with oak flooring, a large farmhouse kitchen and plenty of space for families of up to seven people. Country walks can be enjoyed in the surrounding area and a key feature of the cottage is the private garden and grounds with small pond and central island.

Inside

The comfortable lounge retains its period exposed beams and also has exposed brickwork, a fireplace with wood burner stove and large TV with Freeview service. A DVD player, books, games and DVDs are also supplied. There is a dining room which can seat six and the kitchen is well equipped with an electric range oven, gas hob, fridge/ freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

The cottage has one king size double bedroom, one standard double bedroom, a twin bedroom and ground floor single with ensuite shower. There is also a family bathroom with bath, basin and WC. Bed linen and towels are provided.

Outside

There is off road parking for four cars plus a double garage with bike storage. The cottage has a private enclosed garden to the front with orchard, a side patio with furniture and shared access to the main farmhouse grounds with ponds and stream. 

Other Things to Note

The property can be booked with an adjacent cottage to sleep up to eleven people. Please note the cottage is only suitable for children over two years old. No pets. The cottage is heated with gas central heating plus a wood burner stove in the sitting room.

Short breaks of three nights or more are welcome.
