Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Recently renovated in 2022, this charming bungalow is set within the owners’ 3½-acre grounds and has some stunning garden views. The property is a two-bed property which has been finished and furnished to a very high standard offering a luxurious place to stay for all. Boughton Monchelsea is situated on the outskirts of Maidstone not far from Leeds Castle and Maidstone Centre which has a large variety of shops, cafés, bars, and restaurants suitable for all ages. In the surrounding areas there are plenty of country walks and cycling routes as well as traditional country pubs to stop at for a drink or lunch/dinner.
If you are interested in a semi-rural area in the heart of the garden of England this property makes an ideal base for a walking or touring holiday in Kent. Leeds Castle is just 10 minutes away. Whilst only 40 miles from Central London the beaches at Whitstable & Camber Sands are also only a short drive. Within easy reach are Canterbury, Rye, Rochester & Tunbridge Wells as are numerous National Trust properties (Chartwell, Knole, Sissinghurst, Scotney Castle & Bodiam).

We stayed as a family of four with two young children, straight after Christmas. We had a lovely relaxed time. We didn’t do much nearby as it was so cold, so the space being lovely was very important. The children were comfortable and happy to play games and make believe independently, which is always a sign of a lovely space for us!! The outdoor space is beautiful and was perfect for some fresh air when we didn’t want to venture out to the park. Christmas decorations were such a bonus!! Many thanks to our helpful hosts.
