About this Holiday Cottage

A warm welcome is assured from your hosts Sue and Phill at Brick Kiln, a charming accessible barn conversion in the Kent countryside near Maidstone.  The property sleeps 6 people and is wheelchair accessible with a walk in wet room.  We're easily reached only 15 minutes off the M20, Junction 8 and ideally close to top attractions including Leeds Castle and Sissinghurst Castle Gardens. 

The cottage is set on our small family farm surrounded by beautiful hedgerows, English oaks and fields rich in wildlife including herons, ducks and woodpeckers.  Guests are welcome to relax in the gardens and there is coarse fishing available in stunning lakes only 1 mile away.  For keen walkers the cottage is ideally close to the Greensand Way, one of Kent's many scenic trails and the local pub serving fine food and ales is within walking distance. 

Accommodation

Brick Kiln has a combination of one twin and two double en-suite rooms all with TV's and clock radios. 

The cottage is well equipped with a washer/dryer, fridge freezer, cooker, dishwasher and microwave. 

The spacious lounge has a TV, video, CD stereo and French doors leading to the patio. 

Outside is an enclosed garden, patio and BBQ plus a shed for bicycle storage.

Accessible Facilities

Disabled facilities include ramps, rails, a shower seat and a shower with wheelchair access. 

Other Things to Note

All bedding, linen, towels electricity and heating are included in the price.

Availability

Prices based on 6 people. Reductions for 4 or 2 person occupancy.

Short breaks may be available and we also welcome long lets. 

Longer lets available (we will gladly accommodate you between house moves or insurance purposes etc), please call to discuss.

Around and About

There are a variety of sporting activities available in the local area including coarse fishing nearby and a network of footpaths through the surrounding countryside, ideal for taking a stroll to the friendly local pub.  The Kent coast and the channel ports, as well as the shuttle, are also within easy reach, making a day trip to the continent a distinct possibility.
